When we make, or even just experience, arts – especially arts in community we are re-wired for better.  The fast advancing neuroscience of arts and aesthetics (neuroarts) is reflecting back to us what we’ve long known, and too often forget: the simplest ‘acts of arts’ - humming, drumming, mark making, dance, poetry - have profound impact on our wellbeing, spark joy and deepen connection to self, others and our world.

At a time when women’s health and rights are at the center of national debate, and data show how far we still must go to realize women’s health equity, Drawing Better Worlds™ programs support women (as patients, health consumers, change makers) to imagine What If...and accelerate the move to better.

The art of imagining better, dating back millennia, accelerates beneficial states - on all levels.  Our arts-based advocacy programs integrate techniques from the imaginative, speculative, and ancient visualization arts, as well as the 'super power-based' comic arts.  Programs are grounded in the neuroscience of arts and aesthetic experiences.
